How do I get started as a new patient at ORRA?
Getting started is easy. Follow the link on our website to our secure online scheduling portal and choose a time that works for you. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a short questionnaire to complete beforehand, so your first visit can focus entirely on you and your care.

ORRA currently operates on a cash-pay basis while we complete credentialing with several major Florida insurance providers. We’ll share updates as soon as new plans are accepted, in the meantime, feel free to reach out with any questions about cost.

Yes. We’re happy to help you schedule care for someone in your family. Just note that they’ll need to complete their own intake information ahead of their visit.
Your first visit is a comprehensive, 45-minute evaluation, done virtually from wherever is comfortable for you. We’ll walk you through exactly how to join and use our virtual system beforehand, so there’s nothing to figure out on the fly, just a real conversation with a provider who takes the time to understand you.

Once your appointment is booked, your forms will be available directly on our website. We recommend completing them a few days ahead of time so your first session can be spent on care, not paperwork.

Yes, currently, all ORRA appointments are conducted virtually, so you can meet with your provider securely from home, work, or anywhere else that’s convenient.

What types of therapy and treatment approaches does ORRA offer?
Our clinical model centers on motivational interviewing and supportive psychotherapy, often complemented by cognitive behavioral techniques. Every approach is tailored to you, rather than following a fixed script.
We know fit matters. Provider bios, including their background and areas of focus, are available on our website to help you get a feel for who you’ll be working with before your first visit.
Our providers treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and other mood and behavioral health conditions. The one exception is eating disorders, which we don’t currently treat.
Medication management is the process of finding and fine-tuning the right medication for you, your provider will titrate your dosage for optimal effect, and switch medications if something else may serve you better. Therapy, by contrast, is the “talking” part of care, where you work through challenges and build coping strategies for daily life.
Yes. Many patients benefit from both as part of one connected treatment plan.
It depends on your individual needs. Some patients check in weekly or biweekly, especially early on, while others meet monthly or every few months once things have stabilized.

Yes. Everything you share with your ORRA provider is kept confidential, in line with HIPAA and standard clinical privacy protections.
